Meet Steampunk Jess 
Steampunk Jess is a Professional Balloon Artist bringing imagination to life through balloon twisting, balloon décor, and hands-on interactive experiences. With a background in early childhood education and over 15 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities (since 2008), Jess creates welcoming, inclusive entertainment that truly connects with every audience.

Originally from the Quad Cities (IA/IL), Steampunk Jess has been delighting crowds across Des Moines, Iowa since 2017. Her work goes beyond balloons—she offers engaging activities like make-your-own balloon dog bookmarks, themed cards, and other creative take-home experiences that invite guests to participate, not just watch. 

You can find Steampunk Jess at Downtown Des Moines, Iowa Farmer's Market (and some other surrounding metro area Farmer's Markets and Festivals) twisting balloons with her family - Sydney Storm (partner) and Gail Storm (daughter) who also twsit balloons. 

Steampunk Jess also has limited amount of Balloon Dog Jewelry available for sale.
